Results of the Taagari Koi Show held in September 2018. We won the Grand Champion. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of our entire staff under the intense heat, we achieved many awards. We express our deepest gratitude to the judges and all related parties. We will continue to strive to produce outstanding koi worthy of the name “Niigata Koi.”
[Side note] Interestingly, the six koi that senior koi master Fujio Oomo was most confident about did not win any awards at all… Mr. Oomo was deeply disappointed and reflected seriously. He was temporarily stripped of his “Koi Master” title within the company. — Comment by Fujio Oomo (laughs)
